Directions for Submission of Papers for the Proceedings of the 27^th Southern Conservation Tillage Systems Conference

Oral Presentation: Authors can submit full paper or summary as outlined below.

Poster Presentation: Authors can submit full paper, summary or abstract.

Publication Guidelines
“Full Papers”

1. Title Page: Text should be centered at the top of the page in bold lettering, followed by a blank line. Names of the authors should be centered directly below the title, with the address of the research location and the corresponding author’s e-mail address following.
2. Page Size: 8.5 by 11 inches
3. Margins: 1 inch on all sides
4. Page numbering: No page numberings or headings (other than those listed under 'Content')
5. Line spacing: Single
6. Units of measure: English
7. Font: Times New Romans, size 12
8. Length: Not to exceed 10 pages including references, figures, and tables
9. Abstract: Length not to exceed 250 words, required for all papers
10. Content: Include Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and Reference sections. Center these headings in boldface type.
11. References: Use author-year citation system in body of text in parentheses. Include all authors, year, complete title, publication, volume, and page numbers. For books, cite all authors, year, complete title, page numbers, editors, book title, and publisher.
12. Text: Microsoft Word. File name should be corresponding author's full name (ie. John Doe)
13. Tables: Number tables consecutively.
14. Figures: Include figures within the body of the paper. Figures may be in color or black and white.
15. Format: The Proceedings will be published generally following the format and guidelines of the American Society of Agronomy (other than use of English rather than SI units).

9. Length of Summary:Not to exceed 2 pages of written text. No references, figures, or tables (if these items are needed you must submit a full paper).
