The overall goal of the group is to develop cropping systems that will improve soil quality, crop productivity, and environmental conservation on the southeastern Coastal Plain. Most recent research activities focus on utilizing switchgrass as a biofuel. Click here to learn more about Clemson University's switchgrass research.

Clemson University continues to develop a public outreach component through its Outdoor Education Trail (OET). The OET provides group access to a learning environment for those whom live, work or travel through the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina. Click here to visit the OET webpage.
